Well it was listed as a game to be shown at E3, so just like last year’s Tokyo Game Show the game’s demo is released after it has been displayed at the events. Still I haven’t seen or read anything about a possible online multi-player system which I’m being optimistic about. However the videos and promotional content provided so far for the localised versions have been painful to watch and listen to.

Poor Minna no Game series needs to get butchered on each localised edition… Ban is now called Hugo and Emi is Emily which is alright haha… The latest PlayStation.Blog update with another video slightly different to the previous one is available to watch now. The demo will be on the store shortly…

If you’re seeing this, then the site has now been moved somewhere temporarily. Also I want to say thanks to those who left feedback and posted or contacted me showing concern for the website. I decided I want to move the site somewhere better, but for now it is placed on a temporary host. The previous post about migration and backup has been locked for future reference. 🙂

On a side note, the game hasn’t been interesting me much lately… So I’m thinking of holding a event to keep me going. I will give out a prize to the winner… and I will continue to run it until the release of Minna no Golf 6. The prize will be of course, a copy of Minna no Golf 6 [when it releases] or an Asian PlayStation Store Card [800NT Value]. More details to come later when I am ready… 😛

As the drought for news of the series continues… there is also probably a chance that Mingol 6 will be announced at Tokyo Game Show with PlayStation Move/3DTV Support. Not really sure if I am looking forward to that…

Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip… I’m lacking some sleepy today so I’ll come back to this later. PlayStation.Blog has the news on it… but here is the cover and a screen shot.

What? Killzone…? Anyone else think Ban’s face makes him look retarded on the cover?

The game is scheduled for June 29th.

Hello Everyone, yes the site went down for a week and a half… and Thanks to those who showed some concern for the site… since I was considering on not retrieving the site back, as there was a few problems that hindered that from happening.

This site is originally hosted by an online web community called Neopages. During my schooling years I entered their community and received advertising free web hosting for life* [for as long as the original owner could keep up the charity work]. I have to hand it to him though, because it has been a few years since then and this site has been running for over 5 years now. Which is half of the time I have been hosted here… most sites who run on the same server have probably died or abandoned.

When this account got suspended I managed to get in contact with the hosting service to find out what was happening. Turns out the bill wasn’t being paid to renew the service… long story short I got in contact with my host’s owner and discussed about what could be done about it… there was no original intention of renewing the service it seemed. So I offered to renew it for a little longer to allow time for migration and purging of my data.

Somewhere along the story I thought I might let the site end since there was a lot of guides [draft guides too] that I wrote that I wasn’t backed up and I wasn’t planning on rewriting them. Since the site is created as a service and I don’t really get anything out of doing it… it isn’t too rewarding. If I really wanted to show off there is always YouTube for that…

Anyway this notice is just to explain what is happening… I was originally going to set up a petition to see if the site is worth continuing or not. But I’ll keep it simple, if you enjoy the site leave a comment and write why you enjoyed it or why it has helped you. This site has a month to live… 😛

Well the PlayStation Blog of Europe has announced news about the up coming release of Everybody’s Tennis for the PlayStation Portable.

Everybody's Tennis!

I’m so glad I always play the Original version first, because it’s been butchered a little and the trailer for it looks really bad. What Advanced Shot System? It’s the same system as the original…? However I really want what Sony uses to play their PlayStation Portable Games in 720p+ it looks so nice~! 😛 Probably just the PSP SDK.

Pinball Heroes a PlayStation Network game for the PlayStation Portable seems to have some Sony franchise themed pinball tables in their game.

One of them is this Hot Shots Golf table. It’s interesting to see… but who here is interested in playing it?

You can read up the information and watch the video in relation to the game at the Euro PlayStation Blog.

Alright for those with English version of the PlayStation 3 Game, this month marks the second year since the game’s release… Envisager over at the Euro PlayStation Community is planning to set up an event for those who are interested in making it. I was hoping that he would be able to ask the new producer to actually secure a special event by injecting it into the schedule of the server during yesterday’s maintenance before posting about it… but it seems like that won’t be happening.

Everybody's Golf: The Big Number 2 Event!

The event will be on Sunday Night March 28th… If you’re familiar with the Sunday Fun Nights it will be around that same time. As the event is not injected into the schedule, they will be choosing a Grade Free Tour for the event and will notify everyone on the PlayStation Community Forums when or which Grade Free will be used… For more information in regards to the event or if you have any questions, please visit the PlayStation Community Thread posted at the end of this…

Edit: MusterBuster just posted up the event at the Euro PlayStation Blog…

This is pretty neat, reminds me of that other site I visited recently for what Blu-ray release films would you like to see…

Anyway, Share is a section within the US PlayStation Blog that asks for users to input ideas that they would like to see for the PlayStation 3 and other users would then vote on it… I guess they are looking for ideas that are most wanted. So go have a look and sign in and vote for your favourite ideas. 😀

Check it out: PlayStation.Blog Share US.

I voted for this one… Remote PS3 Deactivation as I’ve had issues with friend’s PlayStation 3s dying with one of my accounts active. Cross Game Voice Chat seems to be a popular one, so no real need to bump that…

Alright, so I finished writing my report or review of Minna no Tennis Portable… despite that I said it was an awesome game and it was very much improved over the original… as I was writing it I noticed a few things as I compared it between the two. The game is still great, but the conclusion didn’t seem to reflect that… If you would like to read it, head over to the Minna no Tennis Portable section. It is the introduction page for the game…

There is now a Minna no Tennis Portable Section added to the site for both pages and the forum/community board. I’ve put up a basic menu translation that should allow you to get around the game without much problem. The only other problem is probably the in-game story moments where they ask for specific stuff… I guess those problems can be posted on the board. 😛

Here is a video that shows the game play, a few spoilers and how to get the SP costumes for the characters… You’ll need to play Exhibition mode and defeat the 天使 Lv. CPU of each character first, but they are random so you need to just play them on hard for awhile until they come out. Then it unlocks 神 Lv. CPU which is also wearing the SP costume for the match. Good Luck and Have Fun. 🙂

Update: While playing the single exhibitions I realised you can change the rules for the game, as long as you don’t edit the handicap the game will count the score so you can easily get 100 point rounds with just 2 Game 1 Set matches… Well maybe easily isn’t exactly the right words unless you have unlocked easy mode. In doubles the CPU is still abit uncoordinated so it tends to mess up the 100 point rounds if you are unlucky… even when the CPU is standing in a smash spot for 2 or 3 seconds it will still miss the smash or totally miss the shot sometimes.
